Broccoli & Cheddar Soup

A few days ago, I decided I would give my mom a break and cook dinner for 2 days.

Day one on deck: broccoli and cheese soup, made from scratch, with carrots and leek. Served with a side of dark rye bread from Natalie’s Bakery in Madison Heights. (I’m obsessed with their breads.)
