Whoa. You made it all this way?

First of all, thank you. I appreciate the time and effort you took to explore my website and discover this page. Now let’s get serious.

You’re definitely thinking “what kinda person has a website this Memphis BBQ smokin’ hot” and listen, I am so glad we’re on the same page.

My talents and skills are wide and forever growing, and that’s absolutely one of my core strengths. Adaptability is important in today’s changing job market, and I have been quite the chameleon in my previous roles. Aside from facing these challenges head on, here are some of my other professional attributes:

  • Integrity: Do it right the first time. I believe a job well done is one that doesn’t require doubling back to fix mistakes (although that’s not feasible every time and that’s okay) and that is done with authenticity and good intentions for achieving the ultimate goal or plan.

  • Communication: Nobody’s a mind reader, and we shouldn’t expect them to know what we’re thinking. Communication is unequivocally key to fostering a great work environment. Whether working as part of a team or leading one, I make a point to set the expectations through effective daily communication for my team or coworkers to ensure we meet and exceed goals.

  • Planning and Organization: The dynamic duo of a successful outcome. Whether it’s planning projects like inventory audits or flipping floor set locations like in my previous role as Assistant Manager, staying organized is the best way to ensure a timely and efficient outcome.

  • Analysis and Problem-Solving: Dumpster fires everywhere are a dangerous path to be on. That’s why it’s critical to keep tabs on issues as they arise by analyzing the situation and engaging effective problem-solving techniques. In my previous roles, I’ve encountered a plethora of hitches along the way, but I was successful in turning them into celebrations by finding the root of the problems and addressing them accordingly.

  • Details: The devil’s in them, I hear. Attention to detail is crucial in accomplishing small tasks and large projects. From planning small adjustments in floor sets to accommodate merchandise overflow in my previous role as Visual Merchandising Manager, to leading the trajectory of several apparel department remodels at different locations in that same role, ensuring details weren’t overlooked is what achieved the big picture.

  • Transformational Leadership: The bread and butter of who I am is my ability to engage and inspire my coworkers, employees, and leadership to achieve higher goals. My greatest joy is in recognizing and supporting those around me, while providing encouragement and provoking positive emotions because truly, the more you know, the more you grow. A transformational leader is someone who leads with an inspired vision, motivates those around them, and focuses on the big picture. I can confidently say that no matter what my role has been on paper, I have always and will always continue to be that person for the people I work with.

If you like what you see (you totally do), let’s chat. Regardless of the outcome, I guarantee to bring a little more light and joy to your day.
