I started the Weight Watchers program about 3 weeks ago because I figure that if I have to pay for it, I will stick with it. So far, so good. Today I got a little Spring-happy as we’re having gorgeous weather this week (last night it rained really hard and it was so wonderful to fall asleep to) and decided to make a strawberry banana smoothie. Delicious and nutritious! Here’s my recipe and, of course, pictures.
Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Weight Watchers Points:Â 6
*You will need a Magic Bullet or blender
INGREDIENTS:
1 Banana, chopped
5-7 Strawberries, tops cut off and washed
3 tablespoons Chobani plain yogurt (or whatever yogurt you like)
1/2 cup soymilk
1-2 tablespoons honey
DIRECTIONS:
1. Pop ingredients in blending container.
2. Blend.
3. Enjoy.
*This is a really basic recipe and you can switch out the fruits for others according to taste. Stay away from apples and the citrus family. Â Berries and tropicals (pineapple, mangos, etc) work best.
