I started the Weight Watchers program about 3 weeks ago because I figure that if I have to pay for it, I will stick with it. So far, so good. Today I got a little Spring-happy as we’re having gorgeous weather this week (last night it rained really hard and it was so wonderful to fall asleep to) and decided to make a strawberry banana smoothie. Delicious and nutritious! Here’s my recipe and, of course, pictures.
Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Weight Watchers Points: 6
*You will need a Magic Bullet or blender
INGREDIENTS:
1 Banana, chopped
5-7 Strawberries, tops cut off and washed
3 tablespoons Chobani plain yogurt (or whatever yogurt you like)
1/2 cup soymilk
1-2 tablespoons honey
DIRECTIONS:
1. Pop ingredients in blending container.
2. Blend.
3. Enjoy.
*This is a really basic recipe and you can switch out the fruits for others according to taste. Stay away from apples and the citrus family. Berries and tropicals (pineapple, mangos, etc) work best.
